TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE BULIDINGS, LANDMARKS AND ARTIFACTS THAT DOCUMENT THE HISTORY OF BEDFORD, NY; TO INCREASE AWARENESS, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE TOWN'S FOUNDING AND GROWTH; AND TO STRENGHTHEN THE CURRENT AND FUTURE HISTORIC CHARACTER OF THE TOWN.

THE SOCIETY REPAIRED AND RESTORED THE SUTTON CLOCK AFTER A CATASTROPHIC MALFUNCTION IN THE CLOCKWORKS. THE SOCIETY ALSO HAD GENERAL REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE FOR ALL THE HISTORIC PROPERTIES OWNED. THE SOCIETY MAINTAINS A MUSEUM WITH EXHIBITS AND ARTIFACTS. DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE SOCIETY DID NOT RUN THEIR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THE SOCIETY HOSTED ONE FUNDRAISER.
