HEALTH - SCHUYLER CENTER FOR ANALYSIS AND ADVOCACY LEADS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WORKGROUPS AND COALITIONS FOCUSED ON GENERATING BETTER HEALTH AND WELL- BEING FOR ALL NEW YORKERS, WITH FOCUSED ATTENTION ON ELIMINATING RACIAL INEQUITIES. SCHUYLER CENTER SERVES IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE FOR NYS'S FIRST 1,000 DAYS ON MEDICAID, FOCUSED ON THE CRUCIAL EARLY YEARS OF LIFE; VALUE- BASED PAYMENT FOR CHILDREN, SHAPING PAYMENT REFORM FOR BETTER OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES; AND INTEGRATION OF ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS AND SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH WORKGROUPS. SCHUYLER CENTER HELPS LEAD MEDICAID MATTERS NEW YORK, THE COALITION FOCUSED ON MEDICAID CONSUMER CONCERNS. CHILD WELFARE/EARLY CHILDHOOD - SCHUYLER CENTER FOR ANALYSIS AND ADVOCACY ADVANCES POLICIES FOR EFFECTIVE, HIGH QUALITY SYSTEMS THAT SERVE AND ARE ACCESSIBLE TO LOW-INCOME AND OTHER FAMILIES WHO NEED THEM. SCHUYLER CENTER FOCUSES ON PREVENTING ENTRY INTO THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM WITH POLICIES AND SUPPORTS THAT STRENGTHEN FAMILIES AND IMPROVING WELL-BEING FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE IN CARE. SCHUYLER CENTER ADVOCATES FOR ACCOUNTABILITY OF PUBLIC SYSTEMS, INCLUDING DATA REGARDING EXPENDITURES AND OUTCOMES.
