FIRSTLY, BY SPONSORING SPECIAL PERFORMANCES OF THE THREE PENNY OPERA TARGETED TO AUDIENCES UNDER 30, THE FESTIVAL AIMED TO CULTIVATE A NEW GENERATION OF OPERA ENTHUSIASTS, ENSURING ITS LEGACY CONTINUES TO THRIVE. SECONDLY, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITS 75 YEAR OLD HISTORY, THE FESTIVAL TRANSLATED ITS FRENCH PROGRAM INTO ENGLISH, OPENING DOORS FOR ENGLISH SPEAKING PATRONS TO DELVE INTO THE RICH HISTORY OF NOTES AND ESSAYS ACCOMPANYING EACH PERFORMANCE.2023 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS AND OPERATIONS: AMIDST THE LINGERING EFFECTS OF THE COVID CRISIS, THE 2023 FESTIVAL UNFOLDED AS A TESTAMENT TO RESILIENCE AND CREATIVITY.
