FOSTERS INVOLVEMENT THROUGH MULTIPLE TIERS OF REPRESENTATION: NEW YORK, NATIONAL, ADJUNCT, AND ALUMNAE ARTISTS. A SELF-DIRECTED GOVERNING BODY, THE ORGANIZATION IS ALTERNATIVE TO MAINSTREAM INSTITUTIONS AND THRIVES ON THE NETWORK OF ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS.
