FOR OVER 75 YEARS, CIEE'S MISSION HAS BEEN TO DEVELOP AND DELIVER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO HELP PEOPLE GAIN UNDERSTANDING, ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE, AND DEVELOP SKILLS FOR LIVING IN A GLOBALLY INTERDEPENDENT AND CULTURALLY DIVERSE WORLD. CIEE PROVIDES INTERCULTURAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 17,000 HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO PRIMARILY STUDY ABROAD EACH YEAR, AND APPROXIMATELY 30,000 PARTICIPANTS, PRIMARILY HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, THE INTERCULTURAL OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY OR WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.
