THE JET ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INC. HAS HOSTED OVER 45 EVENTS FOR ITS 2000+ MEMBERSHIP BASE FROM APRIL 1, 2020 TO MARCH 31, 2021. AS A PUBLIC, NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION OF JET ALUMNI IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA RECOGNIZED AS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION IN 2007, WE DRAW UPON OUR DIVERSE MEMBERSHIP IN THE TRI-STATE AREA TO PROMOTE THE JET PROGRAMME; FOSTER A COMMUNITY FOR OUR 2,000 PLUS AND EVER GROWING VIBRANT ALUMNI ASSOCIATION; AND HOST PROGRAMS AND EVENTS PROMOTING JAPANESE CULTURE AND UNDERSTANDING. IS INVOLVED IN VARIOUS EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR SUCH AS AN ANNUAL SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT WITH JAPANESE COMPANIES/SCHOOLS, AN ANNUAL JOB FAIR, HAPPY HOURS, BUSINESS MEETINGS, CULTURAL EVENTS, SEMINARS, OUTINGS TO THE CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL, AND ON AND ON. IN ADDITION TO THESE EVENTS, WE ARE HOPING TO BROADEN OUR OUTREACH TO THOSE JET ALUM IN THE SURROUNDING NJ, PA, AND CT AREAS. IN MAY 2006, JETAANY WAS THE FIRST ORGANIZATION TO BE DEEMED "SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE VISIT JAPAN CAMPAIGN" BY THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN.
