TO EDUCATE THE INTERESTED PUBLIC IN THE GAME OF GOLF INCLUDING THE RULES OF GOLF, TRADITIONS AND ETIQUETTE OF THE GAME, AND TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN PLAYING THE GAME.

Part 3 - Line 4a

GOLFWORKS STUDENT INTERN PROGRAM THAT PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 147 HIGH SCHOOL AGE STUDENTS EXPOSURE TO CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN GOLF, POSITIVE ROLE MODELS AND REAL WORK EXPERIENCE DURING SUMMER INTERNSHIPS.


JUNIOR GOLF EVENTS, JUNIOR GOLF GRANTS TO OTHER PROGRAMS IN ADDITION TO FIRST TEE, JUNIOR GOLF CLINICS, SURVEY PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS-SEMINAR PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED TO AREA GOLF COMMUNITIES ON RULES OF GOLF, HANDICAPPING, COURSE MAINTENANCE, CLUB OPERATION AND CADDY'S-MORE THAN 1,500 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED. DUE TO COVID EVERYTHING WAS VIRTUAL.


FIRST TEE-SUPPORT OF LOCAL FIRST TEE CHAPTER (FT MET NY) WHICH PROVIDE AREA YOUTH WITH LIFE SKILLS AND CORE VALUE PROGRAMS THROUGH GOLF. MORE THAN 5000 YOUNG PEOPLE ARE INVOLVED AT SIX FACILITIES IN TRI-STATE AREA.
