IN 2022, ICGC CONTINUED AND EXPANDED ITS FISCAL SPONSORSHIP OF SEVERAL GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS-RELATED PROJECTS. ONE LEADING PROJECT AMONG THEM WAS AN INITIATIVE FOR AN MGO-LED ICT CENTER IN GHANA CALLED LAGIM TEHI TUMA: A COMMUNITY-POWERED LEARNING AND INQUIRY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM GROWN OUT OF A GRASSROOTS COLLABORATIVE BETWEEN BRYN MAWR COLLEGE (USA), HAVERFORD COLLEGE (USA), UNIVERSITY FOR DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (GHANA) AND LOCAL EDUCATORS IN THE RURAL COMMUNITY OF DALUN, GHANA. THE PROGRAM IS NOW ALSO SUPPORTED BY A GROWING TEAM OF EDUCATORS ANDOPERATES THROUGH LANGUAGE LEARNING, INTERNSHIPS, STUDY, RESEARCH, AND REFLECTION TO CREATE A PLATFORM FOR COLLABORATIVE THINKING AND POSITIVE CHANGE THROUGH RETHINKING AND RECREATING EDUCATION. THE MISSION OF LA?IM TEHI TUMA (LTT) IS TO CREATE A PLATFORM FOR COLLABORATIVE THINKING ACROSS UNIVERSITIES AND COMMUNITIES THAT REVITALIZES EDUCATION THROUGH STUDY, INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE, INTERNSHIPS WITHIN COMMUNITY-BASED PARTNERSHIPS, AND ENGAGING BLACK STUDY AND BLACK STUDIES TO OPEN QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT EDUCATION IS AND CAN BE, AS AN INTERVENTION IN COLONIAL PASTS AND MOVEMENT TOWARDS JUST AND THRIVING FUTURES.ICGC ALSO CONTINUED ITS SUPPORT OF GRASSROOTS WOMENS GROUPS SUCH AS WOMEN TOGETHER, WHICH SUPPORTS WOMEN TO OVERCOME BARRIERS THROUGH A UNIQUE PROGRAM OF PEER-TO-PEER EDUCATION. ICGC ALSO LICENSED FOOTAGE TO SEVERAL OUTSIDE PROJECTS AND PRODUCERS.
