THE NABGC ENROLLED 18 MEMBERS FROM THE EAST HARLEM COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN ITS VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON CHORAL MUSIC PROGRAM. THE CHOIR OPERATED VIRTUALLY MOST OF THE SEASON. CURRICULUM CONSISTED OF MUSIC THEORY, EAR TRAINING AND SINGING. THE CHOIR GAVE 2 VIRTUAL VIDEO PRESENTATIONS AND ONE LIVE PERFORMANCE BETWEEN JULY 2021 AND JUNE 2022. MEMBERS LEARNED ABOUT DIFFERENT CULTURES THROUGH THE VARIOUS SONGS. IN ADDITION, THEY LEARNED HOW TO PRESENT THEMSELVES ON THE VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON STAGE.
