KENNEDY CENTER VSA SPENDING: THE JIM HENSON FOUNDATION WAS AWARDED $11,477 FROM THE KENNEDY CENTER VSA ARTS CONNECTS ALL - PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO DELIVER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS TITLED "MAKING CONNECTIONS THROUGH PUPPETRY." FUNDS SPENT WERE ALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE COSTS OF CREATING AND DELIVERING THIS PROGRAMMING. THERE WERE SIX WORKSHOPS OF THREE SESSIONS EACH OFFERED IN 2021.
PUPPETRY AT THE CARRIAGE HOUSE (PATCH): A RESIDENCY SERIES OF PUPPETRY ARTISTS TO WORKSHOP A PIECE OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK. THROUGH THIS PROCESS AND FEEDBACK RECEIVED FROM AN INVITED AUDIENCE AT THE END OF THEIR RESIDENCY, THE WORK GROWS TO A NEW LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT. THE FUNDS SPENT WERE ALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE COSTS OF PROGRAMMING AND ADMINISTERING THIS RESIDENCY PROGRAM. THERE WAS ONE ARTISTS AWARDED WITH PATCH RESIDENCY IN 2021.
