THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS/ MAINSTAGE READING SERIES - THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT EMERGING AFRICAN-AMERICAN, LATINO ARTISTS AND ARTIST OF COLOR DEVELOP AND SHOWCASE THEIR THEATRICAL WORK, STAGED READINGS, CHOREOGRAPHY, PLAYS, MUSIC PERFORMANCES AND FILMS. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCED 5 FULL PRODUCTIONS; MOTHERS OF THE MOVEMENT,EVOLUTION OF THE BLUES, A TASTE OF FREEDOM, HARLEM TIS OF THEE, ALL FEMALE OTHELLO, AND HARLEM SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL - SABLE SERIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PRODUCED MUSIC CONCERTS; AND DANCE SERIES - "IT IS AFRICAN,""WOZA SOUTH AFRICA," "NAT KING COLE CONCERT,X AND "INAMORI"- VOICES OF LOVE AND PEACE.
