THE SCHOOL PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR EACH CHILD TO GROW AND LEARN THROUGH A VARIETY OF STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES AND FREE PLAY EXPERIENCES. OUR AGE-APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM ALLOWS CHILDREN TO EXPLORE IDEAS AND DEVELOP SKILLS THROUGH ART, MUSIC, DRAMATIC PLAY, CREATIVE MOVEMENT AND COOKING. FIELD TRIPS, INTERACTIVE SCIENCE EXPERIENCES AND READINESS ACTIVITIES IN READING AND MATH FURTHER ENHANCE THE PROGRAM.EXPERIENCES AND ACTIVITIES ARE INDIVIDUALIZED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF EACH CHILD AT HIS OR HER OWN STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT. THE EPISCOPAL SCHOOL BELIEVES THAT ITS ULTIMATE PURPOSE IS TO GIVE YOUNG CHILDREN THE FINEST PREPARATION FOR LIFE BY FOSTERING SELF-CONFIDENCE AND ENTHUSIASM FOR LEARNING.THE SCHOOL SERVED BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 2 YEARS AND 5 MONTHS THROUGH 5 YEARS OLD. CLASSES ARE HELD FROM MID-SEPTEMBER THROUGH EARLY JUNE, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. THE CHILDREN ATTEND THE THREE-HOUR PROGRAM IN EITHER THE MORNING OR AFTERNOON SESSION.DURING FY2022, THE SCHOOL PROVIDED EDUCATION FOR 186 STUDENTS.THE SCHOOL ALSO OFFERED CAMP FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED CHILDREN. CAMP, STAFFED BY CURRENT TEACHERS AND EXPERIENCED COUNSELORS, IS HELD MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY THE FIRST THREE WEEKS OF JUNE.DURING FY2022, THE SCHOOL PROVIDED CAMP FOR 117 CAMPERS.
