HUDSON VALLEY FARM HUB:THE HUDSON VALLEY FARM HUB WAS ORGANIZED TO FOSTER AN EQUITABLE AND ECOLOGICALLY RESILIENT FOOD SYSTEM IN THE HUDSON VALLEY ONE THAT SERVES THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITIES WHILE WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NATURE. WE PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL FARMER TRAINING, HOST AND SUPPORT AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, DEMONSTRATE NEW FARM TECHNOLOGIES, AND SERVE AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR ADVANCES IN FOOD AND FARMING. WITH STRENGTHS LIKE DEEPLY ROOTED FARMING TRADITIONS, EXCELLENT SOILS, YOUNG GROWERS EAGER TO EXPLORE FARMING CAREERS, AND PROXIMITY TO NEW YORK CITY MARKETS, THE HUDSON VALLEY REGION IS WELL POISED TO CAPTURE THE MOMENTUM OF THE BURGEONING LOCAL FOOD MOVEMENT.
