THE SOCIETY OFFERS MEMBERSHIPS, HOLDS MEETINGS AND SYMPOSIUMS, PUBLISHES SCIENTIFIC PAPERS AND JOURNALS, FOSTERS TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS AND COOPERATES WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

SOCIETY MEETINGS: SPONSOR BI-ANNUAL LARGE SCALE CONVENTIONS. ATTENDANCE FROM MEMBERS, NONMEMBERS AND EXHIBITORS AS WELL AS PERIODIC ATTENDANCE AT SATELITE MEETINGS. ATTENDANCE AT IN PERSON MEETING WAS 3,395 (FALL MEETING) AND 2,886 (SPRING MEETING).


PUBLISH 4 PEER REVIEW JOURNALS, SYMPOSIUM VOLUMES, MEETING ABSTRACTS,MEMBER MAGAZINES AND MONOGRAPH VOLUMES. ALL PUBLICATIONS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MONOGRAPH VOLUMES ARE AVAILABLE IN DIGITAL FORM AND AVAILABLE IN THE ECS DIGITAL LIBRARY. CIRCULATE MONTHLY JOURNALS AND QUARTERLY MAGAZINE TO SUBSCRIBERS AND MEMBERS, PUBLISH HARDBOUND AND SOFTBOUND VOLUMES FOR SALES.
