UNIVERSAL PRE-K AND CHILDRENS SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS NUMEROUS PROGRAMS FOR THE YOUNG CHILDREN OF SINGLE PARENTS AND FAMILIES WHERE BOTH PARENTS WORK. THE UNIVERSAL PRE-K PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN. THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE FOR COMMUNITY CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RUNS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FOR TEENAGERS AND PRE-TEENS. IN ADDITION, BRONX HOUSE OPERATES 3 MIDDLE SCHOOL AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS SONYC PROGRAMS - FUNDED BY THE NYC DEPARTMENT OF YOUTH AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
