THE GREATER NEW YORK HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION (GNYHA) IS THE ADVOCATE FOR MORE THAN 160 MEMBER HOSPITALS AND HEALTH SYSTEMS BOTH VOLUNTARY AND PUBLIC IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA, THROUGHOUT NEW YORK STATE, AND IN THE STATES OF NEW JERSEY, CONNECTICUT AND RHODE ISLAND. ITS SERVICES INCLUDE POLICY ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATION, AND THE PROVISION OF SERVICES THAT ARE DESIGNED TO IMPROVE QUALITY, REDUCE PROVIDERS' COSTS AND IMPROVE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES.
