WOMEN CREATING CHANGE (WCC) DRIVES RACIAL AND GENDER EQUITY IN NEW YORK CITY THROUGH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, EQUIPPING UNDERSERVED WOMEN-ESPECIALLY WOMEN OF COLOR AND LOW-INCOME WOMEN-TO LEAD IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. FOUNDED IN 1915, WCC OFFERS TOOLS FOR CIVIC EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP, AND ADVOCACY, EMPOWERING PARTICIPANTS TO INFLUENCE POLICIES, SYSTEMS, AND LAWS AFFECTING THEIR LIVES. WCC'S INITIATIVES INCLUDE THE CIVIC MATTERS WORKSHOP SERIES, OFFERING LEARNING AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, AND THE CIVIC MATTERS HUB, AN ONLINE PLATFORM SUPPORTING CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND ACCESS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES.
