FIELD OPERATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP SERVICES. THROUGH FIELD AND MEMBERSHIP,WE BUILD STRATEGIES AND ENGAGE WITH COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE NATION. THIS INCLUDES RECRUITMENT, RETENTION, AND GROWTH OF OUR GLOBAL MEMBERSHIP, IMPLEMENTING INITIATIVES AND MEMBER BENEFITS WHICH ENHANCE THE MEMBER EXPERIENCE.
CONVENTION-NAACP. THE NAACP HOSTS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION AS MANDATED BY OUR CONSTITUTION. WE CONVENE MEMBERS, BOARD AND OFFICERS TO SHARE INFORMATION AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND TO ESTABLISH POLICIES AND PROGRAMS FOR THE COMING YEAR. IMAGE AWARDS. THE NAACP WORKS TO ENSURE FAIR EMPLOYMENT AND POSITIVE IMAGES IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. THE NAACP IMAGE AWARDS SPANS MULTIPLE CATEGORIES, CELEBRATING OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF PEOPLE OF COLOR IN THE ARTS, TELEVISION, MUSIC, LITERATURE, AND FILM, AND ALSO HONORING INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WHO PROMOTE SOCIAL JUSTICE THROUGH CREATIVE ENDEAVORS.
