SACFIT PROVIDES FITNESS ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATION THROUGH SATURDAYTRAINING WORKSHOPS (39 PER YEAR), TUESDAY TRACK WORKSHOPS (27 PERYEAR), AND THURSDAY TEMPO AND PACE WORKSHOPS (20 PER YEAR). SACFITPROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS ON A VARIETY OF HEALTH AND FITNESSTOPICS. OVER 900 PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN THESE ACTIVITIES.
SACFIT HOSTS A MAJOR COMMUNITY FITNESS EVENT, THE AMERICAN PARKWAYHALF MARATHON AND 5K RACE. THE EVENT EMBODIES THE PRIMARY GOALS OFSACFIT, HEALTH AND FITNESS.
SACFIT USES THE AMERICAN RIVER PARKWAY HALF MARATHON AND 5K RACE TOPROMOTE THE LOCALE OF THEIR WEEKLY TRAINING - THE AMERICAN RIVERPARKWAY. SAFIT DONATES SIGNIFICANT FUNDS TO THE PARKWAY, A 23-MILE,5,000 ACRE PARK ALONG THE AMERICAN RIVER.
