THE BEHAVORIAL HEALTH RESOURCE GUIDE WAS UPDATED AND REVISED IN THE SPRING OF 2022 AND DEVELOPED AND PRINTED FOR USE BY LAW ENFORCEMENT, HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS & SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS. 1,000 WERE PRINTED AND DISTRIBUTED IN THE COUNTY. THE GUIDE IS ALSO GIVEN TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL GOING THROUGH MHFA TRAINING. UPDATED KTL BOOKLETS WERE DISTRIBUTED AND PRE AND POST ASSESSMENTS WERE ADMINISTERED TO STUDENTS AT EVENTS THIS YEAR. 120 INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN TRAINED AS MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDERS. DISTRIBUTED 5,000 DRUG DEACTIVIATION POUCHES AND DISPOSE RX PACKETS TO RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES TO HELP PROPERLY DISPOSE OF THEIR UNWANTED MEDICATIONS. A TOTAL OF 100 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE BEEN TRAINED AS NATIONAL YOURE NOT ALONG STUENT AMBASSADORS IN HELPING TO INCREASE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AMONG TEENS AND DIRECTING THEIR PEERS TO APPROPRIATE ADULTS AND PROFESSIONAL HELP EARLY ON. AS A RESULT, OVER 80 STUDENTS WERE CONNECTED TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.
