GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF CONSERVATION DISTRICTS, INC. (GACD) REPRESENTS 40 SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICTS IN GEORGIA. FERAL SWINE - OVER 10,000 HOGS ELIMINATED, $3 MILLION SAVED FROM PROPERTY DAMAGE IN 103 COUNTIES COVERED. URBAN CONSERVATION - FUNDED $100,000 TO INSTALL GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE STORMWATER CONTROL PRACTICES IN COBB & FULTON COUNTIES. POLLINATOR INITIATIVE - 51 POLLINATOR GARDENS & HABITATS INSTALLED, 15 STATE WELCOME CENTER HABITAT SITES SECURED, AND POLLINATORS IN AGRICULTURE EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM DEVELOPED. OUTREACH AND EDUCATION - $7,500 IN EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED. 6,500 LANDOWNERS AND K-12 STUDENTS REACHED THROUGH CONSERVATION FOCUSED EVENTS.
