ANOTHER FOCUS OF LONE PINE MINISTRIES IS EASTERN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA. OUR LEADER FOR THAT MINISTRY GREW UP IN CENTRAL ASIA AND KNOWS THE PEOPLE AND THE CULTURE. HIS WORK IS AMONG THE REFUGEES FROM THOSE AREAS WHO HAD TO LEAVE THEIR HOMELAND. HE HELPS THEM WITH HUMANITARIAN AID AND ENCOURAGEMENT IN SPIRITUAL THINGS.
LONE PINE MINISTRIES HAS AN ONGOING MINISTRY IN CUBA. WE WORK WITH EXISTING CHURCHES AND CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES. THE CHRISTIANS IN CUBA DO THE DAILY WORK OF THE MINISTRY AND WE ASSIST THEM BY PROVIDING BIBLES, CHRISTIAN LITERATURE, CLASSES FOR THE PURPOSE OF TEACHING BIBLICAL SUBJECTS, HUMANITARIAN AID WHENEVER WE CAN AND ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO ARE WORKING IN ORPHANAGES.
THIS MINISTRY RELATES TO PEOPLE HERE IN THE USA. REVEREND JOE MAYDEN IS GIVING HIS TIME AND EFFORTS TO TEACH BIBLE CLASSES AND CHRISTIAN COUNSELING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED. MANY OF THESE PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH SERIOUS PROBLEMS THAT KEEP THEM FROM BEING PRODUCTIVE IN EVERYDAY LIFE. SOME CLASSES ARE FOR FAMILIES THAT NEED BIBLICAL UNDERSTANDING CONCERNING HOW TO LIVE TOGETHER IN HARMONY WITH EACH OTHER. HE ALSO WORKS WITH A NUMBER OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE WHO ARE FACING UNUSUAL CHALLENGES BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES. BIBLE STUDIES ARE CONDUCTED IN HOMES AND OFFICES TO ENCOURAGE THEM IN THEIR WALK WITH THE LORD.
