ICE RINK RENTAL FEES: THE LONG ISLAND REBELS RENTED ALMOST 1,359 HOURS OF ICETIME AT THE DIX HILLS PARK ICE RINK. THIS TIME IS BROKEN DOWN INTO PRACTICE AND GAME ICE. PRACTICE IS NECESSARY TO TEACH THE GAME AND THE GAMES REINFORCE THE LESSONS. OUR ORGANIZATION'S GAME RECORD INDICATES THAT WE ARE TEACHING OUR PLAYERS IN THE BEST WAY AND OUR LOW PENALTIES SHOW OUR WORK ON SPORTSMANSHIP AND FAIR PLAY GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR. OFF ICE TRAINING FACILITY: THE LONG ISLAND REBELS PROMOTE PROPER PHYSICAL FITNESS AND TRAINING TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPETE IN THE SPORT OF ICE HOCKEY AND TO REDUCE THE RISK OF CERTAIN INJURIES RELATED TO POOR CONDITIONING.
UNIFORMS AND CLOTHING: WE BELIEVE THAT LOOKING GOOD INSTILLS TEAM SPIRIT. TO THAT END, WE PROVIDE, AS NEEDED, EXCELLENT UNIFORMS. THIS INCLUDES GAME JERSEYS, HOCKEY PANTS, SOCKS AND HOCKEY EQUIPMENT BAGS. IT ALSO INCLUDES THE WARM-UP SUITS THAT OUR PLAYERS WEAR. OUR PLAYERS ARE VERY PROUD TO WEAR THEIR UNIFORMS.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES: OUR PLAYERS LOVE TO GO TO TOURNAMENTS. THEY GET TO PLAY UP TO 5 GAMES IN A WEEKEND WITH TEAMS THAT THEY DO NOT NORMALLY PLAY AGAINST. THE PLAYERS GET TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME TOGETHER AS A TEAM, WHICH HELPS BUILD THE COMRADERE OF THE PLAYERS, COACHES AND PARENTS.
