1.) STAFF WILL OFFER RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION WHEREBY THEY WILL PREPARE YOUNG ADULTS FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING BY TRAINING IN ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, SOCIALIZATION, COGNITION AND COMMUNITY INCLUSION. 2.) DAY HABILITATION WITHOUT WALLS IS A COMMUNITY BASED SERVICE GEARED TO BLEND INDIVIDUALS WITH THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE FOCUS WILL BE COMMUNITY INTEGRATION AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP SKILLS IN AREAS SUCH AS JOB READINESS, SELF DIRECTION, TECHNOLOGY USE, TRAVEL TRAINING, LEISURE MANAGEMENT, SOCIALIZATION. 3.) RESPITE SERVICES IN HOME PROVIDED TO CAREGIVERS. 4.)RECREATIONAL RESPITE PROVIDED WHEREBY CLIENTS ARE TAKEN TO TRIPS AND CAREGIVERS ARE GIVEN RESPITE FROM THEIR OBLIGATIONS. 5.) ISS INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES WHEREBY CLIENTS WHO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY ARE ASSISTED WITH MANAGING THEIR MONEY FOR SUCH MATTERS AS RENT PAYMENTS TO LANDLORD PURCHASE OF FOOD ETC. THIS INSTILLS PRIDE AND SELF ASSURANCE.
