THIS FOUNDATION WAS CREATED ON JULY 2000 AND IS DEVELOPING RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, AS WELL AS WITH LOCAL PRIMARY AND SECONDARY
SCHOOLS, TO MAKE THE ARBORETUM AND NATURE PRESERVE AVAILABLE TO THEM FOR EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, SUCH AS SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND HORTICULTURAL AND BOTANICAL EDUCATION
THERE IS A PROGRAM TO AQUIRE ADDITIONAL LAND TO ADD TO THE ARBORETUM.
A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT HAS BEEN HIRED TO CREATE A MASTER PLAN FOR THE ARBORETUM. CONSTRUCTION HAS COMMENCED ON VARIOUS PROJECTS TO COMPLETE THE ARBORETUM.
