TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, INCLUDING VOCATIONAL PLACEMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING ADULTS. LEXINGTON VOCATIONAL SERVICES CENTER PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DEVELOPMENTALLY DELAYED. THIS INCLUDES HOME VISITS, LINKAGE AND REFERRALS TO SERVICE PROVIDERS. THEY ALSO PROVIDE INDEPENDENT LIVING SUPPORT, IMMIGRATION ADVOCACY SUPPORT TO DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING INDIVIDUALS, CONDUCT AWARENESS TRAININGS AND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES TO BUSINESSES AND THE NYC METRO AREA IN AN EFFORT TO INCREASE JOB AVAILABILITY FOR THIS DISABLED POPULATION.
