HOUSING: THE CASA SALVA PROGRAM PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FOR 9 FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. THE SHP PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR 18 INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS. THE CASA SERENIDAD PROGRAM PROVIDES PERMANENT HOUSING FOR SEVEN INDIVIDUALS AND TWO FAMILIES DIAGNOSED WITH HIV/AIDS IN SCATTERED SITE LOCATIONS IN NASSAU COUNTY.
HIV MSA: HIV PROGRAM PROVIDES OUTREACH, PREVENTION EDUCATION (IDI,IDG,HC/PI), CASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT GROUPS TO PERSONS INFECTED AND AFFECTED BY HIV/AIDS. HIV RYAN WHITE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM PROVIDES HIV POSITIVE RESIDENTS OF NASSAU COUNTY TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL, DENTAL, MENTAL HEALTH. TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED VIA TAXIS, GAS CARDS, AND METRO CARDS.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: CIRCULO OPERATES A VARIETY OF YOUTH PROGRAMS FOR THE COMMUNITY. PROGRAM PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES TO YOUTH AND PROMOTE POSITIVE SOCIAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SELF-ESTEEM, EDUCATION PREPAREDNESS, CULTURAL AWARENESS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO HELP YOUTH TO HELP YOUTH TO DEVELOP SKILLS TO HELP THEM BE PREPARED FOR SUCCESS IN SCHOOL AND LIFE.
