THE LINDENHURST YOUTH CENTERS PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO CREATE A SAFE-HAVEN FOR THE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY TO CONGREGATE. THE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HELP OUR YOUTH TO DEVELOP THEIR SOCIAL SKILLS AS WELL AS POSITIVE IMAGE.

THE LINDY YOUTH CENTER HAD APPROX 1,125 UNDUPLICATED VISITORS DURING THE 2023 CALENDAR TIME FRAME, DURING THIS TIME, THERE WAS APPROX 30 DIFFERENT TYPES OF TOURNAMENTS, CRAFT ACTIVITIES, SPORT ACTIVITIES AND MORE TAKING PLACE BOTH INDOORS AND OUTDOORS, ON AND OFF SITE. THESE ON SITE ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DAILY BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHTS, CHALK ART, FOOSBALL, BILLARDS, PING PONG, BAMING/WORK PCS, MULTITUDE OF CRAFT ACTIVITIES, BOARD GAMES AND VIDEO GAMES. WE ALSO GO ON FIELD TRIPS AND ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES ON A REGULAR BASIS.
