WE PROVIDE A YEARLY GRANT TO THE FOUNDATION FOR AMATEUR RADIO INC. A 501C3 PUBLIC CHARITY WHICH PROVIDES THE SELECTION AND DISTRIBUTION PROCESS AT NO COST. SINCE 1978 WE HAVE PAID FOR 578 INDIVIDUAL SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $771,350. LAST YEAR WE PAID FOR 23 SCHOLARSHIPS.
WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO OTHER HAM RADIO ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE PUBLIC CHARITIES THAT OPERATE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES LIKE YOUTH DX ADVENTURE PROGRAM OF THE DAYTON AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION AMSAT ARISS THE AMATEUR RADIO ON THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION THE RADIO CLUB OF AMERICA'S YOUTH PROGRAMS AND TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT ASSIST IN DISASTER RECOVERY.
