UCONN HILLEL'S MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF JEWISH UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS SO THAT THEY MAY ENRICH THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND THE WORLD.

UCONN HILLEL PROVIDES NUMEROUS PROGRAMS AT ITS FACILITY ON THE UCONN CAMPUS. PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: UCONN HILLEL PROVIDES NUMEROUS PROGRAMS AT ITS FACILITY ON THE UCONN CAMPUS. PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: O WEEKLY SHABBAT EXPERIENCE TO APPROXIMATELY 50 STUDENTS EACH WEEK. O HOLIDAY SERVICES AND CELEBRATIONS INCLUDING HIGH HOLY DAYS, SUKKOT, CHANUKAH, AND PASSOVER.O EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH OUR JEWISH LEARNING AND ISRAEL LEARNING COHORTS O ISRAEL EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY. OUR ISRAEL FELLOW AND MULTIPLE ISRAEL GROUPS EDUCATE UCONN STUDENTS ON CURRENT ISSUES, INCLUDING THE SOCIAL, POLITICAL AND CULTURAL NUANCES OF ISRAEL. WE ALSO COORDINATE FREE TRAVEL TO ISRAEL FOR STUDENTS THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH BIRTHRIGHT. O STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR BOARD MEMBERS, INTERNS AND OTHER STUDENT LEADERS. O OUR FACILITY IS A SAFE, WELCOMING MEETING PLACE AND STUDY AREA FOR ALL STUDENTS.O WE SERVED OVER 610 STUDENTS LAST YEAR THROUGH OUR RELIGIOUS, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES.
