THE IM ABLE FOUNDATION AWARDS ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS. HAND-CYCLES, ADAPTIVE SKIS, AND INSTRUCTIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS UNLEASH THE POTENTIAL IN PHYSICALLY, COGNITIVELY, AND/OR BEHAVIORALLY CHALLENGED CHILDREN AND ADULTS TO BE MORE ACTIVE, ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF PHYSICAL FITNESS, AND SPEND MORE TIME IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS.


IM ABLE FOUNDATION'S IM FIT INCLUSIVE GROUP FITNESS PROGRAM PROVIDES A FREE-OF-CHARGE OPPORTUNITY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS OF ALL ABILITIES TO LEARN AND PRACTICE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF EXERCISE IN ORDER TO REAP THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL BENEFITS OF FITNESS. ADAPTIVE FITNESS PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS WITH CHALLENGES CHARGE AN AFFORDABLE FEE WITH GRANTS AWARDED TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE LOOKING TO TAKE PART, BUT ARE LIMITED BY FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.


IM ABLE'S OPERATION LEAD FROM THE FRONT IS A PROGRAM WHERE MILITARY VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS UTILIZE THE TRAITS THEY LEARNED IN SERVICE (DISCIPLINE, MENTAL AGILITY, STRENGTH, AND INITIATIVE) TO MENTOR A CHILD WITH A PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, AND/OR BEHAVIORAL DISABILITY IN A RELATIONSHIP CENTERED AROUND FITNESS. VETERANS WORK ALONGSIDE OTHER VETERANS RE-ESTABLISHING CONNECTIONS WITH THEIR PEERS WHILE SERVING CHILDREN WITH CHALLENGES. THEIR MENTORSHIP GOES BEYOND SIMPLY EXERCISING TO HELP YOUNG CHILDREN WITH OTHER CHALLENGES IN THEIR LIVES.
