MANAGE AND FUND PROGRAMS LIKE JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES, JCC EVENTS AND ACTIVITES AND RAISES FUNDS THROUGH AN ANNUAL CAMPAIGN THAT BENEFITS THE READING JEWISH COMMUNITY, ISREAL AND JEWISH PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD.

TREASURES IS A NON-PROFIT/BENEFIT CORPORATION RETAIL STORE THAT WILL SELL SIGNIFICANTLY DISCOUNTED BRAND NAMED GROCERIES, FURNITURE, CLOTHING AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE BY OFFERING A WIDE SELECTION OF CLOSEOUT AND DONATED PRODUCT. TREASURES WILL ALSO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY BY DISTRIBUTING SURPLUS FUNDS TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP THOSE IN NEED AND BY OFFERING A VARIETY OF CAREER TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, WITH A SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND THOSE FACING LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYMENT. ALL THIS WHILE KEEPING UNWANTED AND UNNEEDED ITEMS OUT OF THE WASTE STREAM.
