HAWKWING WORKS TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF THE CHEYENNE RIVER SIOUX RESERVATION AND CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS OVERCOME HARDSHIPS AND GENERATIONAL REPRESSION AND THROUGH PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON ENHANCING PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, BOOSTING HEALTH AND EDUCATION ENDING HUNGER AND EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS. OUR VISION IS THAT ALL PEOPLE GET THE CHANCE TO LIVE HEALTHY, FULFILLING LIVES FREE OF GENERATIONAL TRAUMA AND HARDSHIP.

23ND ANNUAL GIVE-AWAY. OUR ANNUAL GIVE AWAY WAS ABLE TO SHIP TO SOUTH DAKAOTA FOR THE HOLIDAYS FOR THE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, DESPITE THE PANDEMIC AND ITS AFTERMATH. ALONG WITH A TRUCKLOAD OF ITEMS FROM AMAZON, WE INCLUDED 2,600 BOXES FOR THE CHILDREN AT AN AVERAGE VALUE OF $25 EACH.
OUR PRESIDENT AND CEO, ROCHELLE RIPLEY, GOES TO CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS TO EDUCATE NON-INDIGENOUS PEOPLE ABOUT THE CONDITIONS OF CHEYENNE RIVER INDIAN RESERVATION.
14TH ANNUAL HELPING HANDS AND 12TH MEDICAL MISSION. SEE ATTACHMENT A. YEARLY, WE HAVE CHOSEN A PROJECT TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THE CHILDREN AND THEIR RELATIVES. THAT IS THE HELPING HANDS INITIATIVE. THIS YEAR, WE WERE UNABLE TO TRAVEL OUT TO THE RESERVATION DUE TO THE PANDEMIC AND ITS AFTERMATH. WE WERE ABLE TO SEND SOME MONEY FOR THE VITAMIN PROGRAM.
