THE LANGUAGE ACCESS SERVICES PROGRAM IMPROVED ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH SERVICES FOR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS BY PROVIDING CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE INTERPRETATION SERVICES AND TRANSLATION MATERIALS. IN FY2021, 1,757 DOCUMENTS WERE TRANSLATED AND 5,415 INTERPRETATION VISITS WERE PERFORMED.
THE HEALTH CAREER TRAINING PROGRAM PROVIDED HEALTH WORKFORCE TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY PROVIDE QUALITY HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDED TRAINING TO AN ESTIMATED 708 UNDUPLICATED PARTICIPANTS IN FY2021.
