LATIN AMERICA HUMAN RIGHTS AND PEACE PROJECT - LAWG'S CURRENT PROGRAMS INCLUDE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY TO ENCOURAGE ATTENTION TO HUMAN RIGHTS AND PEACE IN LATIN AMERICA; TO ENCOURAGE CONSOLIDATION OF PEACE AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN COLOMBIA; TO ENCOURAGE DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND CUBA; AND TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS IN LATIN AMERICA.
