THE PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE OR LOW COST DIRECT LEGAL SERVICES TO A WIDE RANGE OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN CONNECTICUT, PRIMARILY IN URBAN CENTERS, AND OFFERS GOVERNANCE TRAINING, BASIC EDUCATION ABOUT THE NONPROFIT APPLICATION PROCESS, AND ADDRESSES A WIDE RANGE OF LEGAL NEEDS, FROM CORPORATE TAX AND REAL ESTATE TO CONTRACTS, LEASES, MERGERS AND DISSOLUTION.
THE PROGRAM PROVIDES DIRECT LEGAL SERVICES AT A REDUCED RATE TO SEVERAL HOUSING AUTHORITIES, IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR ONGOING CORPORATE AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, GENERAL PROCUREMENT AND OTHER MATTERS.
