HOLIDAY GALA - AN ANNUAL HOLIDAY AUCTION EVENT TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHILDREN'S CHARITIES AT CHRISTMAS TIME. MOHEGAN SUN DONATES THE FACILITY USE; VALUE OF $25,000. ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR FACILITY/FOOD ARE PAID FOR. A LOCAL NEWSPAPER, THE DAY, CONTRIBUTED $20,000 OF ADVERTISING SERVICES FOR 2016.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND SERVICE TO THE SOUTHEASTERN CT REGION.
CT SUB TRAIL IS A PUBLIC ART PROJECT THAT TIES THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF THE SUBMARINE INDUSTRY. CT SUB TRAIL SERVES AS A NON-PROFIT FUNDRAISER FOR THE USS GROTON SAIL FOUNDATION. THE PROGRAM APPEALS TO VISITORS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF CT.
