CONSERVATION PROPERTY STEWARDSHIP: THE ORGANIZATION IS A LEADER IN ENHANCING PUBLIC ACCESS TO OUTDOOR RECREATION, SUPPORTING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS TO INFORM EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND LAND MANAGEMENT, AND PROVIDING EXCELLENT STEWARDSHIP OF ITS CONSERVATION PROPERTIES THROUGH RESTORATION OF NATIVE WILDLIFE AND PLANT HABITAT. IT MAINTAINS SEVERAL MILES OF RECREATIONAL AND NATURE TRAILS ON ITS PRESERVES. THE ORGANIZATION MONITORS AND ENFORCES THE CONSERVATION RESTRICTIONS ON ITS PROPERTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER FEDERAL AND STATE LAW.
CONSERVATION ACQUISITION: THE ORGANIZATION PROTECTS CONSERVATION RESOURCES INCLUDING WATER, WETLANDS, FOREST, AND FARMLAND THROUGH DIRECT OWNERSHIP AND CONSERVATION EASEMENTS.
