HIGH HOPES THERAPEUTIC RIDING, INC. (HIGH HOPES) IS A NONPROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION IN CONNECTICUT WHOSE MISSION IS FOSTER A VIBRANT COMMUNITY WHERE HORSE AND HUMAN INTERACTIONS IMPROVE LIVES. HIGH HOPES IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EFFICIENT, SAFE, INNOVATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL THERAPEUTIC RIDING PROGRAMS TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES OF ALL AGES. HIGH HOPES WAS FOUNDED ON THE BELIEF THAT EXPERIENCING AND RIDING HORSES IN A SECURE, CHALLENGING AND COMPANIONABLE ENVIRONMENT WILL ACHIEVE THIS OBJECTIVE. THE FOCUS IS ON EACH PARTICIPANTS NEED TO ACHIEVE MEANINGFUL GAINS IN BALANCE, COORDINATION, STRENGTH, CONFIDENCE AND SELF-RESPECT.

OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, HIGH HOPES SERVED 1,109 PEOPLE; HELD 7,495 EQUINE ASSISTED ACTIVITIES AND THERAPY SESSIONS; UTILIZED 12,772 VOLUNTEER HOURS AND PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 100% OF OUR RIDERS. 2. EQUINE ASSISTED SERVICES - 100% OF OUR THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP PARTICIPANTS RECEIVED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE; EVEN WITH THE INCREASE IN DEMAND HIGH HOPES CONTINUES TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS NECESSARY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. 3. HIGH HOPES CONTINUES TO PROVIDE ITS NECESSARY SERVICES TO PARTICIPANTS REGARDLESS OF AGE OR DISABILITY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OUR HORSE SENSE, VETERANS AND SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS.
