THE ORANGE FOUNDATION PROVIDES: 1) COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL STUDENTS AND 2) COMMUNITY GRANTS TO LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, PRIMARILY FOR TOWN SERVICES, ASSISTING SENIOR CITIZENS, AND SERVIING THE YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY.

WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED THE SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL STUDENTS. IN 2023 WE DISTRIBUTED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELEVEN LOCAL STUDENTS BASED ON FACTORS SUCH AS: ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS, FINANCIAL NEED, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.


WE DISTRIBUTED GRANTS TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS THAT DID NOT HAVE THEIR OWN FUNDING. IN 2023 THE RECIPIENTS WERE: AMITY TEEN CENTER (10% SPONSOR OF TEEN INTERN AT FACILITY THAT PROVIDES USED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AT LOW COST), ORANGE HISTORICAL SOCIETY, TOWN OF ORANGE FIREWORKS ON JULY 4TH, ORANGE CONSERVATION COMMISSION, ORANGE SENIOR CENTER, AND ORANGE VOLUNTEER FIRE ASSOCIATION.


ONE GRANT WAS $5,000 TO CAMP CEDARCREST TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO THEIR PARKING LOT. CAMP CEDARCREST BENEFITS SEVERAL NON-PROFITS AND LOCAL PEOPLE.
