THE ORANGE FOUNDATION PROVIDES: 1) COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL STUDENTS AND 2) COMMUNITY GRANTS TO LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, PRIMARILY FOR TOWN SERVICES, ASSISTING SENIOR CITIZENS, AND SERVICE THE YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY.

WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED THE SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL STUDENTS. IN 2021 WE DISTRIBUTED SCHOLARSHIPS TO NINE LOCAL STUDENTS BASED ON FACTORS SUCH AS: ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS, FINANCIAL NEED, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.


WE DISTRIBUTED GRANTS TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS THAT DID NOT HAVE THEIR OWN FUNDING. IN 2021 THE RECIPIENTS WERE: TOWN OF ORANGE AFGHAN LADIES (BUY YARD SO THAT THEY CAN KNIT FOR NEEDY), AMITY TEEN CENTER (10% SPONSOR OF TEEN INTERN AT MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FACILITY), ORANGE HISTORICAL SOCIETY, MEMORIAL DAY PLAQUES, TOWN OF ORANGE FIREWORKS ON JULY 4TH.


ONE GRANT WAS $3,000 TO ORANGEFOOD2KIDS WHICH DISCRETELY PROVIDES TAKE HOME FOOD PACKAGES ON FRIDAYS TO STUDENTS WHO RECEIVE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIZED LUNCHES AT SCHOOL. THIS ENABLES THE STUDENTS TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE HEALTHY FOOD ON NON-SCHOOL DAYS.
