TO RATIFY THE APPOINTMENT OF THE NEWLY PROPOSED SLATE OF CFDA OFFICERS AND TO ELECT THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS THAT ARE ENDORSED BY THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S EXECUTIVE AND NOMINATING COMMITTEE;B. TO RATIFY THE APPOINTMENT OF MARCUM, LLP., THE CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, TO ACT AS THE ACCOUNTANTS OF THE CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR;C. MID-YEAR SUMMER GATHERINGSIN PRIOR YEARS, SPECIAL EDUCATION SEMINARS, LEGAL AND REGULATION UPDATES, AWARDS AND RECOGNITION ACTIVITES TO HONOR THOSE MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN LICENSED IN CONNECTICUT 25, 35 OR 50 YEARS OR LONGER AND FIRMS CELBRATING FUNERAL HOME ANNIVERSARIES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO HOSTS A GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR THE MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE.APPROXIMATELY 150 ATTENDEES.IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT, THERE APPROXIMATELY 293 FUNERAL HOMES,APPROXIMATELY 220 OF THOSE FUNERAL HOMES ARE MEMBERS OF THE CONNECTICUT FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION.
