STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS - COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO 4-H MEMBERS.
ANIMAL SCIENCE PROGRAMS - WELL OVER 300 4-HERS PARTICIPATE IN 4-H PROGRAMS IN ANIMAL SCIENCE. THESE FUNDS ARE USED FOR WORKSHOPS, TRAINING SESSIONS, JUDGES, PRESENTATIONS, CONTESTS AND COMPETITIONS.
IN ADDITION TO ANIMAL SCIENCE PROGRAMS, THE 4-H ORGANIZATION OFFERS VARIOUS OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS IN OTHER PROJECT AREAS INCLUDING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, PUBLIC SPEAKING, PHOTOGRAPHY/FINE ARTS, LEADERSHIP, HEALTH AND NUTRITION, ETC. FUNDS EXPENDED IN THESE AREAS INCLUDE THE PURCHASE OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, AWARDS, RENTAL OF FACILITIES, AND SMALL STIPEND/REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES FOR GUEST SPEAKERS AND WORKSHOP LEADERS.
