ESTABLISHED IN 1999, WE HELP ARMENIANS AND NON-ARMENIANS WORLDWIDE SURVIVE LIFE-THREATENING BLOOD-RELATED ILLNESS BY RECRUITING AND MATCHING DONORS TO THOSE REQUIRING BONE MARROW STEM CELL TRANSPLANTS. TO DATE WE RECRUITED 32,000 POTENTIAL DONORS IN 33 COUNTRIES ACROSS FOUR CONTINENTS, IDENTIFIED OVER 9,000 PATIENTS, FACILITATED 35 BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTS, AND HARVESTED 160 CORD BLOODS. WE OFFER CORD BLOOD BANKING, CRYO-PRESERVATION AND PLASMA EXCHANGE PROCEDURES. WE CONTINUE TO BUILD ON THE MOMENTUM AND WORK TO CONTINUE TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF THE REGISTRY HOPING TO INCREASE THE SIZE TO 35,000. DURING A RESTRICTED PANDEMIC 2020 YEAR WE HAD 300 PATIENT REFERRALS, RECRUITED OVER 500 DONORS, COLLECTED 33 CORD BLOODS, PERFORMED 200 RESOLUTION TESTING AND 287 HLA DISEASE ASSOCIATIONS, AND FACILITATED 2 STEM CELL HARVESTINGS.
