MISSING OPERATED A STATE CHARTER SCHOOL FOR RHODE ISLAND STUDENTS DRAWING LARGELY FROM THE GREATER PROVIDENCE METROPOLITAN AREA, WITH 70% OF THE STUDENTS FROM THE CITY OF PROVIDENCE. USING INNOVATIVE EDUCATION PRACTICES AS A CATALYST FOR SOCIAL CHANGE, THE SCHOOL IS WORKING TO ENSURE THAT ALL CHILDREN HAVE THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT THEY NEED TO ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. THE SCHOOL HAD AN AVERAGE ENROLLMENT OF 620 STUDENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2023. ON JANUARY 24, 2023, THE SCHOOL'S CHARTER WAS RENEWED FOR A THREE-YEAR TERM THROUGH THE YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2026. THE RENEWED CHARTER APPROVED THE SCHOOL TO CONTINUE PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE CLASSES. THE SCHOOL'S PROVIDENCE LOCATION SERVES PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 6TH GRADE AND THEIR WARREN LOCATION SERVES 7TH THROUGH 12TH GRADE.
