ACAP HAS STRIVEN TO SUPPORT SAFETY NET HEALTH PLANS SO THAT THEY CAN CONTINUE TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY CARE TO THE MOST VULNERABLE OF OUR CITIZENS. WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THIS BY POSITIONING ACAP AS AN AUTHORITY ON PUBLICLY SPONSORED COVERAGE PROGRAMS THROUGH PUBLICATIONS AND CONFERENCES. WE HAVE ADVOCATED FOR HEALTH COVERAGE PROGRAMS, PARTICULARLY FOCUSED ON THE PUBLIC INSURANCE PROGRAMS SUCH AS MEDICAID MANAGED CARE. LASTLY, WE HAVE STRENGTHENED ACAP MEMBERS OPERATIONALLY TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY, EFFICIENCY, AND COMPETITIVENESS THROUGH A ROBUST SERIES OF ROUNDTABLES AMONG PLAN STAFF.
