ADVOCACY - COORDINATES INFORMATION AND ACTIVITIES OF MEMBER INDEPENDENT MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS, AND PROMOTES PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS.
BHDDH TRAINING- THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND HOSPITALS (BHDDH) HAS FUNDED THE COUNCIL TO DEVELOP AND PROVIDE A STATEWIDE TRAINING PROGRAM THAT MEETS THE STATE'S CRITERIA FOR CERTIFIED COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (CCSP), CERTIFIED SUPPORT EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS (CSEP), CERTIFIED CRISIS RESPONSE TRAINER (CCRT), THE DISASTER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESPONSE TEAM (DBHRT), AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSED CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY PROFESSIONALS (LCDP) AND CLINICAL SUPERVISORS AS WELL AS LICENSED SOCIAL WORKERS AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELORS.
