CEMETERY BURIALS DATE FROM 1768. CEMETERY ASSOCIATION WAS CHARTERED BY MASSACHUSETTS LEGISLATURE IN 1884. CATAUMET CEMETERY ASSOCIATION IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION OPERATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS LOT OWNER MEMBERS AND IS GOVERNED BY AN ELECTED BOARD OF OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES.

PROGRAM: LOT CORNER MARKING IN ACTIVE SINGLE AND FAMILY LOT SECTIONS. BEGAN MARKING LOTS IN 2021, STARTING WITH THE SINGLES EAST SECTION AND FAMILY LOTS ON EAST LANE.
PROGRAM: MANAGEMENT OF TREES IN CEMETERY PROPERTY. ACCOMPLISHED PRUNING OF DEAD WOOD ON TREES IN THE CENTER SECTION OF CEMETERY. REMOVED LARGE WHITE PINE FROM VENDT LOT TO STABILIZE LOT AND PREVENT FURTHER MOVEMENT OF HEADSTONE.
