CERTIFICATION - THE NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT PARTICIPATE IN OMNIAIR CERTIFICATION SERVICES/PROGRAMS (APPLY FOR CERTIFICATION SERVICES) VARIES MONTH-TO-MONTH AND YEAR-TO-YEAR. IN 2021, OVER 15 ORGANIZATIONS APPLIED FOR OMNIAIR CERTIFICATION SERVICES, INCLUDING DEVICE CERTIFICATION, TEST EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION, AND TEST LABORATORY AUTHORIZATIONS. PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE DEVICE MANUFACTURERS, TEST LABS, TEST EQUIPMENT PROVIDERS. OMNIAIR PROVIDES CERTIFICATION AND TEST LAB AUTHORIZATION SERVICES TO OUR MEMBERS FOR TEST LABS, DEVICES, AND TEST STATIONS.

OMNIAIR PLUGFESTS BRING TOGETHER LEADING DEVICE MANUFACTURERS, CHIPSET PROVIDERS, TEST LABORATORIES AND TEST EQUIPMENT PROVIDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR A WEEK-LONG TESTING EVENT. PLUGFESTS OFFER CONFORMANCE, INTEROPERABILITY, SECURITY, AND FIELD TESTING FOR DEVICES TO HELP DETERMINE DEVICE READINESS FOR CERTIFICATION. IN ADDITION TO TESTING, OMNIAIR PLUGFESTS INCLUDE A ONE-DAY POLICY WORKSHOP, ALLOWING ATTENDEES TO HEAR FROM INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT, AND ACADEMIC EXPERTS ON CONNECTED VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES.
