PACIFIC BUDDHIST ADADEMY (PBA) IS A HAIS AND WASC ACCREDITED PRIVATE NON-PROFIT HIGH SCHOOL WHOSE MISSION IS TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR COLLEGE THROUGH ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE; TO ENRICH THEIR LIVES WITH BUDDHIST VALUES; AND TO DEVELOP THEIR COURAGE TO NUTURE PEACE. PROGRAM OFFERINGS INCLUDE SUMMER SCHOOL, EXCHANGE WITH JAPAN HIGH SCHOOLS, OUTREACH ART CLASSES, AND TAIKO. PBA CURRENTLY SERVES APPROXIMATELY 70 STUDENTS COMPRISED OF DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS, INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. PBA IS IN ITS 18TH ACADEMIC YEAR AND HAS HAD OVER 146 GRADUATES ACCEPTED TO COLLEGES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND IN JAPAN.
