THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AFTER SCHOOL AND DURING THE SUMMER. IN ADDITION IT PROVIDES VARIOUS PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS IN THE COMMUNITY.

GRANT RECEIVED FROM THE CITY OF CALUMET CITY, IL FOR GENERAL PROGRAM PURPOSES. THE FUNDS WERE USED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF GINGER RIDGE MUTUAL HOUSING ASSOCIATION.
THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND RESPONSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6-14 YEARS OF AGE DURING WORKING HOURS OF THE PARENTS. THE STAFF PERSON ASSISTS IN HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, COMPUTER LEARNING SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL GAMES. RECREATION ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SPORTS, MOVIES AND ARTS AND CRAFTS. THERE WERE NO CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THIS PROGRAM DURING 2021 DUE TO COVID.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE INCURRED TO OPERATE THE FACILITIES THAT WERE NOT DIRECTLY ALLOCATED TO EACH SPECIFIC PROGRAM. THOSE EXPENSES TOTALED $108 AND ARE LISTED IN DETAIL ON FORM 990 PART IX, COLUMN B. THERE WERE ONLY THESE LIMITED EXPENSES DUE TO COVID.
